I recently had the privilege of photographing Monique and Andy's wedding held at St. Patrick's Anglican Church in Mount Lawley. We then move on to Hyde Park and then Como The Treasury (part of the States Bulding in the CBD) for the location shoot, and finally ending the night with a banger of a reception at Typika.Read More
First family shoot ever!
Larry, Lillian and I were housemates back in our university days. After graduating, they moved back to Singapore as a married couple and here they are 3 years later with their new addition, baby Charlotte (her cheeks are so smooth)! They decided on UWA and St. George's College as photoshoot locations because that was where they studied together and later, where they got married. It's so great when couples choose locations that are meaningful to them and as a photographer, it's really special that I get to be a part of that.Read More
A little over a month ago, I had the privilege of shooting Lisa and Ciaron's wedding held on the sun deck of the Secret Harbour Surf Club. They both work in theatre - Lisa as a performer and Ciaron as a set builder. Now here's the cool part. With the help of his mates, Ciaron designed and built an entire set for both the ceremony and reception venue! Impressive!
As the sun went down, we managed to get some beach shots with their two girls, maid of honour and best man before heading back to the function room for the dinner reception.
With just under a hundred guests, it was a nice, intimate affair among family and close friends. All in all, it was a great night of good fun celebrating the union of this cool couple. Here's to many years ahead together!
All photos shot for Ryan Ahern.Read More
Had the privilege to attend a workshop a couple of weeks ago ran by Nat from We Are All Stardust fame. Shosh (an amazing photographer in her own right) and her boyfriend Xander volunteered to be the models.
Shosh and Xander are such a cute and easy going couple, and I really love the photos we got out of it.Read More
